RO: Trebuie sa recunosc, am avut ceva emotii in ceea ce priveste editia de anul acesta a festivalului, dar cand am ajuns aseara acolo, in gramada aia de oameni care stateau la coada, am inceput sa simt energia. Iar in momentul in care am intrat pe stadion a fost ca si cum mi-ar fi bagat cineva adrenalina pe vena. E ciudat cum un simplu festival poate sa imi provoace astfel de reactii. Nu m-as fi asteptat niciodata.
Sa incepem totusi cu inceputul: nu aveam nici un dubiu ca o sa merg la Untold si anul acesta. In ciuda premonitiilor si a povestilor de groaza pe care le-am tot auzit, eu eram mega nerabdatoare sa vina festivalul. Mai ales pentru ca anul acesta impartasesc experienta cu una dintre cele mai bune prietene ale mele.
Cum aveam sa ajungem aici a fost o problema putin mai dificila. Ne-am tot invartit, ne-am tot sucit si pana la urma am venit cu masina. Drumul a fost infernal. Am facut o eternitate din Timisoara pana la Cluj, deci la intoarcere o sa folosim o alta ruta. Din fericire, Marta ne-a asteptat cu bratele deschise si a avut grija de noi inca de la inceput. Saraca de ea, cred ca deja s-a saturat sa o vizitez doar pe perioada festivalului, dar e om bun si ma primeste in continuare :D. Multumeeeeesc!!! :*
Dupa cum spuneam, intr-un final am ajuns si la coada pentru intrare care era infernala. Cred ca am stat cel putin 45 de minute din momentul in care ne-am asezat la coada si pana am intrat efectiv in incinta festivalului. Bine ca asta se intampla o singura data, atunci cand iti iei bratara, pentru ca altfel as fi luat-o razna. Totusi, trebuie sa apreciem si masurile de securitate destul de sporite care iti indepartau din cap ideea ca poate vine unu si te bombardeaza 😀 (v-am spus ca am tot auzit chestia asta).
Linda ar fi vrut sa ajungem la Faithless, dar nu s-a putut din pacate, asa ca am fugit pana in piata Unirii pentru concertul Carla’s Dreams. Da, stiu, e doar Carla’s Dreams o sa spuneti, dar amandoua suntem fane si trebuie sa recunoasteti, baietii aia chiar stiu sa faca muzica.
Am revenit in incinta festivalului pe la 11 jumate si ne-am continuat cercetarile. Acolo ai ce vedea, nu gluma si abia astept sa ajungem azi si sa incercam toate standurile alea. Cum anul acesta sunt mult mai multi sponsori, sunt si mult mai multe chestii de facut, va dati seama. Si, ce mi-a placut cel mai mult, iti poti printa pozele de la festival in doua locatii diferite. Ce putea fi mai tare de atat? Nici macar photo booth-urile ce erau anul trecut si care acum au disparut :D.
In ceea ce priveste artistii, aseara ne-am bucurat de un super show Fedde le Grande, dupa care Tiesto ne-am incantat cu mixurile sale. Noi am ales sa stam sus, in tribune si vreau sa va spun ca privelistea de acolo era absolut geniala. Stadionul era plin. Mii de maini erau ridicate. Toata lumea dansa si sarea si energia era la maxim. Simteam bassul mai ceva ca propria mea inima si nu imi venea sa plec. Atunci, stand acolo si privind marea aia de oameni, mi-am dat seama de ce o sa iubesc intotdeauna acest festival si de ce nu o sa mai traiesc probabil in nici o alta parte sentimentele care ma incearca aici. Anul viitor cu Flavius vin clar!
Inainte sa plecam acasa am dat o tura pe la Alchemy Stage pentru Rudimental DJ set. Si aici mi-a placut la nebunie, iar cand a pus I’ve been waiting all night for you mi-a venit sa ma urc peste oamenii aia toti :))) (f.y.i. aceea e melodia mea si a Alinei de Cluj :D).
Am ajuns acasa dimineata la 5, am o super durere de picioare si ma pun sa mai spamez oamenii cu filmuletele mele :))). Nu va speriati daca va invadez feedul. Si va invit sa urmariti transmisiunile live aici.

EN: I have to admit, I was kind of nervous about Untold’s second edition but the second I got there and all those people that were waiting in line just surrounded me and then I got to the stadium and I felt it, the same energy I loved last year. It was like a shot of adrenaline straight to the heart. I would have never expected a festival to have this effect on me.
Still, we should keep to the timeline. I didn’t have any doubts about going to the festival this year, despite the horror stories and strange premonitions I’ve heard. I was so excited especially because this year I can share the experience with my bestie, Linda.
We had kind of a rough patch getting here. At first we didn’t know what we should take, then we decided to go with my car and then we went on the most awful route ever! Definitely not gonna go back that way because it took us almost the entire day to get from Timisoara to Cluj. Thank God for Marta who was waiting for us with open arms and goodies :))). She is such an amazing friend and I hope she won’t mind that I only come to Cluj during Untold :D. Thank you!!!!
As I was saying, we got to the line and what a line it was. I think it took us 45 minutes to get inside the festival from the moment we started standing in line. But this only happens when you get the bracelets. If you have them, you only have to go through security checks which are very ok and very important.
Linda would have liked to see Faithless, but that didn’t really happen so we had to run all the way downtown to catch Carla’s Dreams. If you’re thinking they’re just another Romanian band please think again because these boys (who are actually Moldavian) really can sing.
We returned to the festival area at about 11:30 pm and did a little recon mission. We wanted to see what we could do today, what interesting things the lovely people of Untold had in store for us. What I can now tell you is that there are a lot more to do than last year. There are more sponsors, hence there are more prizes to be given. I can’t wait for today!
When it comes to artists, Untold has plenty. From the very wide range offered to us, we decided to see Fedde le Grande and then Tiesto, who both mixed at the Ursus Untold Arena. The shows were both amazing. There were thousands of people dancing and singing and jumping around. Hands were in the air and the energy level was to the roof. We saw all this from the bleachers and we couldn’t have picked a better view. Feeling the bass in my body, seeing all those people, made me remember why love this festival so much. It is the experience of a lifetime and next year I am gonna share it with Flavius :D.
Before leaving we decided to stop by the Alchemy Stage to see what Rudimental had in store for us. The people were crazy here to and I didn’t move one inch from stage until I’ve been waiting all night finished playing. I just love that song because it always reminds me of Alina and the good times we had in Cluj a few years ago.
It was 5 in the morning when we finally got home and I couldn’t feel my legs anymore. Now it’s already noon, I spammed people with photos and videos and have to get ready for this new day. If you wanna see first hand what is new with the festival, keep close to my blog’s page for the live feeds.
