Ro: In timp ce incercam sa imi revin dupa o noapte pe autocar (de acum, vreau sa merg doar cu avionul) m-am trezit in mijlocul unui peisaj de vis, langa un lac de o frumusete tulburatoare, in mijlocul caruia se gaseste singura insula naturala din Slovenia.
Bled este un orasel la poalele Alpilor. Este micut, este cochet, este exact genul de loc in care ti-ar placea sa imbatranesti, sa iti cresti copiii, sa te trezesti in fiecare dimineata.
Din momentul in care l-am vazut am stiut ca o sa fac baie in lacul Bled. Era prea albastru, prea cristalin, prea ademenitor ca sa nu o fac. Si cum mai erau o gramada de oameni care faceau exact acelasi lucru, nimic nu ne putea impiedica (Andrei si Flavius erau la fel de nerabdatori ca si mine).
Am stat in apa cam 2 ore, aproape fara intrerupere. Pot sa spun ca senzatia era perfecta. Nu as mai fi plecat de acolo. Nu stiu cati dintre voi ati facut baie intr-o apa super cristalina de munte, insa nici un scaldat de pe lumea asta nu se poate compara. In apa vezi tot. Ea este cumva mai grea, mai fluida si iti ofera o anumita stare de imponderabilitate atunci cand te scufunzi. Si ca sa fii complet rupt de lume, pe langa tine inoata pesti, rate si lebede. Ce poate fi mai frumos?
Vreau inapoi in Bled, pentru o saptamana macar… impreuna cu Flavius. Noi am stat atat de putin incat nu am apucat sa ne bucuram decat de lac. Presupun ca atunci cand trebuie sa alegem intre inotat si orice altceva, nu trebuie sa va spun cine castiga :D.

En: I was so tired that morning that I was barely functioning. The road had been long. Hot chocolate did not do the entire trick and I felt a bit claustrophobic for some reason. But when I got of the bus and my eyes set sight on this wonder of a lake, I was smitten. I knew a long swim was waiting for me and that I wouldn’t let anyone and anything stand in my way.
Lake Bled is the one lake in Slovenia that has a natural island in it. Situated in the town that bares the same name, it is the place you have to see if you visit this country. Even if you miss out on visiting the church on the island (like we did) and the castle (like we also did :))), after spending one day here you will come to the conclusion that this is the life you should be living. You will want to raise your children and grow old by the lake. You will want to eat here, love here, read here, just stay here forever. And believe me, coming from me, this is saying something.
